Chapter 5 was a review for me. One of the things that stuck out to me in chapter 5 was the reflexes that infants have. Rooting , Moro , Babinski , Stepping , and the gag reflex are all the reflexes that a baby has.  In my personal experience I have touched the bottom of a babies feet and watch their feet fan out, the book refers to this reflex as Babinski. This chapter also covers sensation and preception of newborns. Newborns can  only see black and white when they are first born. As they grow and develop the begin to see more colors. It sort like the world to them is like a color page that hasn’t been color and as the grow up them begin to color their worlds and see the world just the way it is. Each color they see gives them a legend and key to their surroundings.
